Why Protect Your Mental? 🤔💭🧠 As we go through life, we find ourselves facing many challenges. Sometimes it’s to a point where we have a difficult time facing it head on and we’re stuck in a place of feeling anxious (experiencing worry, unease, or nervousness), fearful, and avoiding the situation all together.

As we take on this new week, I want to encourage practicing these 4 mindfulness tips to learning to protect our mental when life is hard and becomes difficult to deal with. 
1. Letting Go: What you resist will amplify your pain and suffering while draining your energy and robbing you of your freedom. The way out this cycle is to learn to let go of the struggle with what your mind and body offers you.
2. Inviting: Nobody chooses anxiety. But you can choose how to relate with it. Instead of resisting, you learn to open up to what you’re experiencing anyway. You then become curious and learn to welcome your experiences with kindness and compassion.
3. Valuing: Without a clear sense of direction, our choices in life can potentially lead us astray. To really LIVE, you’ll need to know what you wish to LIVE for. 
4. Engaging: No matter how you cut it, your life is created by what you spend time doing. To do more of what you really desire in life, you’ll need to set intentions that are in line with what matters to you and then take action. In short you’ll need to do something with your mouth, hands and feet (speaking, creating, and stepping in direction).

Ultimately, we can create the conditions for our genuine happiness and peace of mind. It’s important that we don’t allow ourself to stay stuck with feeling anxious and fearful, or even pinned down in the difficulties that life may hand us. The trick is that we shift our mind to wanting to live life well even when the circumstances around us aren’t. This is us LIVING in the moment. The point is to see how struggle can show up in common, everyday situations and how we can learn to let go, open up, connect with what matters, and LIVE!
